Lindsay E. Mack joined Levin & Perconti as a litigation associate in December 2008. Prior to becoming an associate, Lindsay worked at the firm as a law clerk where she offered support on a number of significant personal injury cases including nursing home litigation, medical malpractice cases, car accident cases, as well as defamation/false light claims.
As an associate at Levin & Perconti, Lindsay has successfully argued dispositive motions in court and won multiple hearings on behalf of her clients. She has assisted in a variety of medical malpractice cases, including one in which a Chicago hospital failed to treat a subarachnoid hemorrhage in a 55-year-old patient in a timely manner. This caused the patient to suffer severe brain damage and a brain-stem herniation, causing his untimely death. Lindsay has played a vital role in the discovery process of a medical malpractice/wrongful death case against a hospital for a pulmonologist’s failure to diagnose sarcoidosis in a 38-year-old woman who exhibited symptoms of the disease. She has also worked diligently on behalf of victims of nursing home abuse and neglect in cases involving pressure sores, falls and dehydration.
Lindsay received her law degree in May 2008 from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. In law school, Lindsay participated in the Charles Evan Hughes Moot Court Competition, ranking in the top 10 percent of participants. She was also selected as a “Top 5 Advocate” in her Intensive Trial Advocacy Course and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta International Legal Fraternity. Also during law school, Lindsay held several clerkships including a position with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.
Lindsay was sworn into the Illinois State Bar Association on Nov. 6, 2008. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Outside of work, Lindsay is involved in local charity activities in support of breast cancer research and awareness.
Lindsay graduated from the University of Texas in 2005 with a 4.0 GPA and highest university honors. There, she earned her degree with a major in government and a minor in business, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Lindsay grew up in Deerfield, IL, and graduated as salutatorian of her class at Deerfield High School.
