Tina H. Dave joined Levin & Perconti as a law clerk in January 2009 and was hired as an attorney in October 2010 after receiving her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School.  In November 2010, Tina was admitted into the Illinois State Bar.

Since joining the firm, Tina has assisted in a number of noteworthy nursing home settlements.  She helped settle a $1 million nursing home pressure ulcer case against ManorCare at South Holland, along with a $750,000 settlement against the facility. Tina also recovered $450,000 for the family of a deceased resident in a nursing home dehydration case against a downstate Illinois facility. Additionally, Tina recently reached a $430,000 settlement in a nursing home case for a resident who developed pressure sores that became infected and infested with maggots while living under the defendant nursing home's care.

During her clerkship with the firm, Tina assisted in a variety of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including a traumatic brain injury case against a Chicago hospital that settled on the eve of trial for $18 million. She also assisted attorney Susan Novosad in obtaining a $1.2 million premises liability settlement in Lake County, IL.   Additionally, Tina played a vital support role in a number of nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice and motor vehicle accident matters.

As a law student, Tina participated in classes and experiences that would sharpen her litigation skills and better prepare her to practice personal injury law.  In addition to working as a law clerk full-time, she also took part in Deposition Practicum, Pretrial Practice with Judge Robert Quinn, and Counseling and Negotiations with Judge Michael Mason.

Tina is an Indian-American attorney who speaks Gujarati and Hindi.  She is an active participant in the Shri Rang Avadhoot Parivar.  Through this organization, she performed volunteer work in India, donating her time, school supplies, and clothing to orphans, the disabled, and victims of the 2001 Gujarat earthquake.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Indian American Bar Association.

Tina grew up in Itasca, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006 where she received a dual bachelor’s in Psychology and Criminal Justice in three and a half years.
