Andrew Manno joined Levin & Perconti as an associate attorney in January 2017 soon after passing the Illinois Bar Exam. Andrew received his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where he graduated in June 2016 in the top 25% of his class and earned certificates in both Trial Advocacy and Alternative Dispute Resolution. While in law school he was very involved in the school’s Trial Advocacy Program, where he competed in trial competitions each semester on issues ranging from complex civil issues to criminal matters. Andrew was also an Articles Editor for the Review of Intellectual Property Law Journal. During his time in school he worked as a 711 Licensed Attorney with the Cook County Public Defender’s Office Felony Trial Division where he represented indigent clients in the court room. Before joining Levin & Perconti, Andrew was serving as an Executive Assistant to Commissioner David J. Walsh at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.

Prior to law school, Andrew attended Illinois State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Studies and Political Science in 2013. While at Illinois State University, Andrew focused his passion in helping others and became involved in the Student Government Association and advocated on behalf of students. During his senior year, Andrew was elected by his peers as Student Body President where he represented the 20,000 students at Illinois State University and pushed to transform the culture and policies of the university to reflect the needs of the students. Andrew was also involved in ISU’s Mock Trial Program where he competitively argued simulated cases against other universities, including Ivy Leagues, and earned outstanding attorney awards. In his senior year, while maintaining high academic excellence, he was part of the first team in the program’s history to move onto the National Competition held in Washington DC.

Andrew grew up in Midlothian, IL and graduated with academic honors from Bremen High School in 2009. While attending Bremen High School he was very active in both athletics and academics where he was named as captain of his varsity baseball team and was an intern for the Southtown Star writing a monthly Student Column. In his spare time, Andrew serves as a trial coach for the John Marshall Law School’s TYLA competition team and enjoys watching movies, running, and spending time with his girlfriend, family, and friends.
