Daniel W. DiamondAssociate
Daniel Diamond joined Levin & Perconti in July 2017 as an associate attorney in the case intake department. He graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in May 2016 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2016. While at DePaul, Daniel learned to do case intake while volunteering at the Veterans’ Legal Support Center and Clinic at The John Marshall College of Law and also Illinois Legal Aid Online. In these roles Daniel discovered that he enjoys helping people obtain the information they need to develop an informed plan of action to resolve legal problems. During law school, he also volunteered as a policy debate coach and judge for the John Marshall Metropolitan High School in the Chicago Urban Debate League.
Daniel grew up in Oak Park and was a captain on the policy debate team at Oak Park and River Forest High School. He attended the University of Kentucky on a debate scholarship and was a member of the university’s well regarded intercollegiate policy debate team. He graduated with a BS in Mathematical Economics in 2011. After college Daniel worked as a computer programmer and in sales before starting law school in 2013.
