“For the entirety of my legal education I wanted to be an advocate for individuals who could not speak for themselves. I have always focused my legal career on fighting for individuals who are at very low points in their lives. My clients have been individuals accused of crimes, people who have lost loved ones to horrific accidents, and patients who suffered due to the negligence of another. Although I will never be able to fill the void caused by the loss of a loved one, or cure someone suffering from a debilitating ailment, I consider it my job to get my client as close to whole again as possible.”
In his spare time, Jared’s passion is running. He has been running since high school, competing in races from the mile up to the marathon. He is currently running for the Fleet-Feet Nike Racing Team and as of recently has been focusing on the half marathon and marathon distances. He has qualified for the Boston Marathon multiple times and has won the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ Race Judicata 5K both in 2014 and 2015.
In addition to running, he enjoys live music and traveling. After taking the bar exam, he camped in the backcountry of 7 National Parks, 4 National Forests, and several State Parks. An avid music lover, he travels all over the country for music festivals and concerts as well.
