Nadia Adam AhmedAssociate
Nadia Adam joined Levin & Perconti in February 2017, and is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Nadia attended UMKC on a merit and diversity scholarship.
While in law school, Nadia was named to the Dean's List, served as an Editor on Law Review, and was featured in the UMKC catalog to attract other diverse students. Nadia was also the recipient of the 2014 Association of Women Lawyers scholarship.
She represented her school in the national moot court competition after winning the Sheridan Award for being the best at oral arguments in her state by faculty, peers, and Judges. Nadia was also recognized for completing over 100 hours of service to her community within her first year of law school.
Nadia received a B.S. in biology in 2007 from The University of Texas and was part of the Science Honor Society. Her interest in medicine and science led her to pursue a Master's in Public Health at St. George's University. She graduated magna cum laude with her MPH in 2010.
Thereafter, Nadia attended medical school. During her time in medicine, she opted to change careers and pursue law instead. Her experience and training in the medical field sparked her interest in personal injury and medical malpractice.
Nadia began her legal career in Kansas City where she worked for various medical malpractice law firms and the Jackson County Prosecutors Office. Additionally, Nadia worked as a Judicial Clerk to Judges Robert E. Larsen and Brian C. Wimes in the Western District of Missouri.
Nadia is fluent in Urdu and Hindi. She is passionate about service and has volunteered in countries around the world, teaching English in China and building homes in Costa Rica.
