Nicole T. Schroeder was hired as an associate attorney at Levin & Perconti in April of 2015. She handles all types of personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home and wrongful death cases.
Nicole graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in May 2014. During law school and following admission into the Illinois Bar, she worked as a senior law clerk for a circuit court judge in Indiana. Nicole states that this clerking position influenced her decision to become a personal injury attorney. She also worked for the Cook County Public Defender’s Office in Chicago in the Homicide & Sex Crime Division as a licensed intern. Here she gained experience working with people from different backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses and belief systems. During her first year of law school she was the Treasurer of the Valparaiso Lambda Student Association. She also worked in the Sports Law Clinic at Valparaiso University School of Law as a legal Intern during her third year of law school.
According to Nicole, “I have always been passionate about pursuing justice for people who are unable to advocate for themselves. I am thrilled to be part of such an amazing firm that has given me the opportunity to advocate on behalf of individuals who have suffered injuries through no fault of their own.”
Nicole received her undergraduate and law degrees as a mother, and currently resides on the north side of Chicago with her family. She actively volunteers at her son’s school and mentors Girl Scouts for the Project Law Track Mock Trial Prep through the Women’s Bar Associations of Illinois. Nicole enjoys spending her free time with her son and cheering him on during his weekend sporting events.
