Levin & Perconti proudly sponsored the Community Renewal Society's Annual Gala.  The event celebrated Catalyst Chicago's 20th Anniversary.  The event was held at the Chicago Cultural Center and funds were raised to help the CRS continue its battle to end racism and poverty in Chicago.  Click the link to learn more about the Community Renewal Society.

The firm sponsored the Senior Action Network's Third Annual Senior Power Leadership Awards on Saturday, August 22, 2009.  The event was held at the Greater Walters Church in Chicago.  This annual event is planned, designed and implemented by our active senior citizens from across the Chicago area and this year's event featured keynote speaker Harry Porterfield. The Senior Action Work is part of the Community Renewal Society.

For the second year in a row, Levin & Perconti  participated in the Alzheimer's Association's  "A Toast to Remember" event in Chicago. This year, Levin & Perconti was proud to be a premier sponsor of the event that was held at the River East Arts Center with more than 500 people in attendance.  The event helped to raise money for the Association's Greater Illinois Chapter.

Levin & Perconti made a generous donation to the National Citizen's Coalition for Nursing Home Reform (NCCNHR).  The donation will enable NCCNHR to support vigorous advocacy  in Congress including legislation to require greater transparency and accountability in nursing home corporations and  legislation to bar mandatory arbitration clauses in nursing home admission contracts.  Click here to visit NCCNHR's website.

Steven M. Levin of Levin & Perconti spoke at the North Shore Senior Center's Men's Club in Northfield, IL on the topic of Nursing Home Abuse: What can you do to make sure your loved one is not a victim.  The North Shore Senior Center (NSSC) is an activities center for Illinois seniors and their families.  The Men's Club meets weekly to discuss topics of interest for senior citizens in Illinois. Click here to visit the NSSC's website.
