Levin & Perconti is proud to have co-hosted a VB Gives Back charity event at Veronica Beard Chicago. On Thursday, April 30, style met substance as the store’s sales helped support a worthy cause.
Our firm’s female partners — Margaret Battersby Black, Jaime Koziol Delaney, Kelly Sabo Gaden, and Cari Silverman — attended the event as part of an annual partnership with the fashion brand.
Supporting Chamber of Mothers in Its Mission
Chamber of Mothers is a nonprofit organization advocating for mothers and families, aiming to spearhead policy change without divisiveness. Consisting of more than 50 local chapters nationwide and a virtual chapter for military families, the Chamber hosts meetings for mothers and advocates to share their experiences and strategize to promote the organization’s three pillars:
- Paid family leave
- Affordable and accessible childcare
- Improved maternal health
The Chicago chapter of the Chamber of Mothers now boasts more than 300 members. We’re proud to have supported an organization fighting to improve the lives of millions of mothers and families across the country.
In previous years, our firm’s partnership with VB Gives Back has supported the Israel ParaSport Center and the Center for Disability & Elder Law.
Style and Shopping for a Worthy Cause
Veronica Beard co-hosted the event with our firm at its Gold Coast store. During the event, attendees and customers sampled and shopped the brand’s Spring 2026 collection, with 15% of all proceeds going directly to Chamber of Mothers. Online shoppers could also contribute during the event hours.
The event was open to the public and well attended by members of Chicago’s legal community interested in giving back to their friends and neighbors.
We’re Proud to Support the Chicago Community
Our firm has been serving the people of Chicago for more than 30 years. As our team has grown, we’ve worked to express our gratitude for the opportunities we’ve had to help make a difference for thousands of families throughout Illinois. Our partnership with VB Gives Back is one of many ways we aim to give back and say thank you to the community that made us.
