Kara Rockey joined Levin & Perconti as a law clerk in May 2019 and was hired as an associate attorney in November 2021. As a law clerk, Kara drafted legal documents that included motions, complaints, and answers to discovery. She conducted legal research and analysis on a variety of medical and regulatory issues. Kara also assisted with the intake of new clients.

As a law student, Kara received the Syracuse Law Dean’s Scholarship, and was the editor of the Syracuse Journal of Int’l. Law and Commerce. She was a member of the Travis H.D. Lewin Advocacy Honors Society (Moot Court), a quarter finalist in the Bond, Schoeneck & King ADR Competition, president of the Women’s Law Student Association, and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Kara served as a judicial intern for Judge David N. Hurd of the Northern District of New York. While there, she performed legal research and analysis on diverse legal issues and assisted with trial preparation. She previously served as a student teacher in Louisiana.

An Oak Lawn native, Kara enjoys running marathons, skiing, cooking, and playing volleyball.
